After 3 months trial operation, the “Tongjunge” (桐君阁) Chongqing Chinese Medicinal Materials Market of Taiji Group, located at Caiyuanba Bund, officially opened to the public on November 18th, 2013.
Chongqing Chinese Medicinal Materials Market, one of the 17 national specialized markets of Chinese medicinal materials, has a history of 20 years, with the former site located at Chuqimen. “The new market, with an operating area of 20,000 square meters, 350 shops and more than 220 merchants, that is, the area and the number of shops and merchants outdistance those of the old market in Chuqimen,” Yang Xiulan, the vice general manager of Chongqing Tongjunge Co., Ltd. introduced. In addition to the improvement of hardware and scale, the company invested more than 5 million yuan to set up a quality management system which keeps the record of each deal.
