More than 30 nations use this kind of airplane and produced over 1,000 airplanes in total.
The Pilatus project from Switzerland settled in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area on December 18, 2012, including Pilatus Airplane Industry (China) Co., Ltd., China Production Base and Pilatus Assembly and Delivery Center. It marks the acceleration of the general aviation industry in Liangjiang New Area. The new industry mainly produces small airplanes is expected and planned to bring the industrial output value of 20 billion yuan to Chongqing by 2015.
