The expert panel for the seventh project of the United Nations Population Fund（UNPFA）on sexual and reproductive health of teenagers came to Chongqing on November 4. According to an expert, Chongqing Municipal Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital and its counterpart in Yuzhong District will set up a healthcare clinic for teenagers in 2013, providing physical and psychological medical services for teenagers aged from 10 to 24.
Since August 2012, Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital in Yuzhong District, Chongqing and the Municipal Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital have started a pilot project of teenage healthcare clinic.
The two hospitals will establish an independent outpatient clinic for teenage healthcare on January 2013. Moreover, a comprehensive hospital in Yuzhong District will join the project, setting up a service counter in its outpatient so as to facilitate medical services for teenagers.
