National (Chongqing) Land Search & Aid Base to operate

The National (Chongqing) Land Search & Aid Base, the major project of Chongqing emergency system, will be completed and put into operation recently, according to Chongqing Comprehensive Emergency Rescue Corps.

Located at Fusheng Town, Jiangbei District, the base covers an area of 360 mu, with the total building area of 84,000 square meters and the construction investment of 450 million yuan. The base involves the 3 major kinds of training, which are educational training, land search, disaster management, and 16 kinds of training devices, and concerns Chongqing, Yunan Province, Guizhou Province, Sichuan Province and Hubei Province. Its completion significantly promotes the land search and aid ability of comprehensive rescue corps in Chongqing and even west China.

The other 7 national Land Search & Aid Bases except for the one in Chongqing are respectively located at Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, Urumchi City, Xinjiang Province, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. The bases in Shenyang and Shaoxing have been completed and put into operation before.
