Chongqing’s Hechuan to subsidize service outsourcing sector

A package of policies to encourage service outsourcing industry was issued in Hechuan District, Chongqing on November 18, with a subsidy of 300 million yuan for loan with discounted interest, tax supporting, bounty on export, financial aid for brand and intellectual property protection.

Hechuan District was designated as a demonstration zone for service outsourcing of Chongqing in September 2011 and then it began to be aimed at developing mobile apps industry. Since the end of 2011, Hechuan District has started to be built as a global valley of internet developing apps, games and cartoon for mobile phones.

“Now there are 9 service outsourcing enterprises which have been introduced to the Internet Valley and we are fostering 13 suchlike micro ones,” said a principal of the Internet Valley. The Valley is expected to attract more than 50 large and medium enterprises and employ 25,000 persons with an annual output value of more than 5 billion yuan in 2016, becoming an important base for service outsourcing industry in Hechuan District.
