Wanli Expressway to start construction in 2013

The Chongqing Section of Wanli (Wanzhou-Lichuan) Expressway has paid off and will start construction in 2013, according to Chongqing Wanli & Wanda Expressway Company on November 13.

With a length of 51.893 km and a designed speed at 80 km/hour, the two-way four-lane Chongqing section of the Expressway will become a bridge which owns the longest main span among Chongqing’s expressways.

The Wanli Expressway would be able to take passengers from Wanzhou, Chongqing to Lichuan, Hubei Province in 40 minutes’, being the third expressway which connects Chongqing Municipality and Hubei Province.
