The organizing committee of the 16th Chongqing Chrysanthemum Show reveals that the show has received 220,700 visits by November 11, 2012.
Each year’s chrysanthemum show has been a witness to the personal growth of many Chongqing natives. This year marks the first relocation of the show to Chongqing Garden Expo, and now the chrysanthemums are in full blossom. According to the organizing committee, a total of 220,700 visits have been registered since its opening, with a daily peak volume of 28,200 visits at weekends.
In addition, this year’s show is unique in that it provides free flower arranging concerts and folk singing and dancing performances for the citizens.
