Chongqing residents preferred to invest in funds and industries in the third quarter of 2012, compared with the continuous unwelcome investment in real estate and stocks, according to Chongqing Management Department of the People’s Bank of China on November 7.
Among the best investments chosen by residents, “funds and wealth management products” ranks the first place and is chosen by 30% of the respondents; and 18.25% of them chose “industrial investment” while 12% of them chose “investment in real estate”. Only 9.75% of the respondents thought the “stocks” were the best one to invest in, which got an historic low since the second quarter of 2009.
