Chongqing’s Jiulongpo District started the construction of 18 projects worth nearly 14.1 billion yuan, involving sectors of infrastructure, industry, social undertaking and modern service industry on November 6.
The place, where used to be the plant of Chongqing Brewery, will be changed into an upscale commercial complex involving business, creative industry buildings and high-rise office buildings.
The area of Chongqing Brewery was about 100 mu, 75% of which will be occupied by the new project. And the project is designed with an overall floorage of nearly 337,000 square meters and an investment of more than 2 billion yuan.
After completion of the project in 2015, department stores, restaurants, cinemas and assorted entertainment industries will be introduced to the former site of Chongqing Brewery.
