Recently, Guangzhou municipal government and CSR signed the Agreement on Program of Joint Development of New Rail Transit Equipment.
According to the agreement, “There will be no more a web of electric wiring above roads; no more exhaust emissions from the running automobiles; this means of transportation will run on semi-closed tracks with a capacity of 300 to 400 passengers;on the level crossing between the city and roads, the automatic control signal system guarantees safe operation of automobiles and light rail trains.
It has the ability to complete charging and head for the next station 30 seconds after the automobile’s arrival.” Such green, intelligent, pleasant and convenient new rail transit system will soon be incorporated into life of people in Guangzhou.
