Chongqing receives 237 samples of rare animals

The Global Health and Education Foundation (GHEF) signed an agreement on donation of wildlife samples with Chongqing Museum of Natural History on the morning of November 3, 2012. Mr. Kenneth Behring, sponsor and chair of GHEF, donated 237 samples of rare animals to Chongqing.

Mr. Behring has been among the top 400 on Fortune and Forbes for four times. After success in business, he becomes a famous philanthropist worldwide.

In April 2011, Mr. Behring visited Chongqing and signed the Memorandum of Donation for wildlife samples with Chongqing Museum of Natural History. Chongqing Government planned to line out an area of 2,000 square meters especially for exhibiting the samples donated by Mr. Behring and named the exhibition hall after him.

After the signing and several talks, Mr. Behring decided to donate 237 samples of rare animals valuing at nearly 20 million USD.
