After a two-year construction, a total of 6 exhibition halls in the northern area of Chongqing International Expo Center (CQEXPO) will be delivered by October 2012.
The 2012 Chongqing Automobile Consumption Festival, the first trial exhibition of CQEXPO held on December 6, 2012, is estimated to attract 300,000 tourists and exhibitors.
The CQEXPO, located in Yuelai Town of Liangjiang New Area, covers a building area of 600,000 square meters. It was put into construction in July 2010 and is scheduled to be put into official operation around May, 2013.
