Chongqing migrant workers avoid financial losses through legal means

A total of 11,000 migrant workers in Chongqing chose to resort to litigation to avoid the financial losses since 2012, according to the latest statistics from the Legal Aid Center of Chongqing Justice Bureau.

Zhu Xiujun, a lawyer who usually provides legal aids for migrant workers, said that migrant workers now choose to protect themselves by legal means.

It is said that Chongqing has set up more than 10,000 legal aid offices in communities, villages, sub-districts, towns, etc. This move aims to protect the legal right of migrant workers.
