The 19th China International Advertising Festival opened in Tianjin on October 27. During the festival, Changsha Advertising Industrial Ppark, the only national-level advertising industrial park in central China, signed six agreements of intent on introducing advertising projects on October 28.
At the beginning of this year, Changsha advertising industrial park was approved by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as one of the nine national advertising industrial parks. Located on Heili Road (Queyuan Road) of Shengfu New District, the industrial park covers a planning area of 433 mu (about 28.6 hectares). The construction of the park is divided into three phases and its first phase has already been started.
In a few years, an industrial chain integrating advertisement R&D, production, release, training and service will be formed in the industrial park. By 2020, the total value of advertising creative industry is expected to hit 10 billion yuan, with 5 billion yuan of industrial added value. By 2015, over 800 advertisement companies with 5,000 staff will settle in the park, including 50 enterprises above designated size and 15 companies with an annual output value exceeding 100 million yuan. The industrial park aims to be a leading advertising creative enterprise in south central China.
