Added value of Chongqing non-public economy to hit 73b yuan

The stimulus package for private economy and small- and micro-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Chongqing, implemented in 2012, has energized the non-public sector of the city’s economy and SMEs.

The non-public economy of Chongqing has realized a year-on-year growth of 17.1% in the first 3 quarters of 2012, according to Ma Faxiang, director general of Chongqing Administration for Development and Guidance of Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises.

Ma believed that the added value of Chongqing’s non-public economy is set to reach 730 billion yuan with an increase of 16.5% or above in 2012.
