Delphi Automotive PLC from USA, the largest supplier of wiring harness for China, started the operation of Chongqing branch of Delphi Packard Electrical Systems Co. Ltd. on October 10, 2012.
This branch is designed as the largest manufacturing base in southwest China, with an annual output value of 200 million U.S. dollars.
Delphi, one of the Fortune 500 enterprises is a leading global supplier of electronics and technologies for automotive, commercial vehicle and other market segments.
Rodney O’Neal, CEO and president of Delphi, introduced that Chongqing branch, as the second manufacturing base in southwest China, is also the largest one built there.
Chongqing branch of Delphi Packard, with an area and investment of 12,582 square meters and 60 million U.S. Dollars respectively, is mainly engaged in producing optimized auto wiring harness for Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd., Volvo Group China and Jiangling Ford Automobile Co., Ltd.
