Chongqing will carry out 100 industrial projects per year to promote the upgrading and transformation of its traditional industries, according to Chongqing Economy and Information Technology Commission days ago.
Statistics show that Chongqing injected 101.2 billion yuan into technological innovation of industrial enterprises in 2011, 5.5 times more than that of 2005.
The total output value of Chongqing’s hi-tech industry exceeded 240 billion yuan in 2011, hitting a record high.
Chongqing has so far established a database for technological innovation projects.
