Chongqing Airport achieved a total passenger throughput of 2.04 million person-times in July 2012, up 15.67% year on year, and a daily throughput of 65,800 on average. A total of 17,600 flights safely took off and landed, up 13.8% year on year, with a freight throughput of 16,300 tons. The airport received 71,300 passengers on July 28, 2012, seeing most daily passenger volume since its opening.
It is reported that in July 2012, Chongqing Airport dispatched and received 995 international (regional) flights, up 105% year on year, providing service for 95,300 passengers, up 122% year on year.
The Chongqing-Doha and Chongqing-Helsinki flights keep a load factor of over 90%. Chongqing Airport received 450,000 passengers in the first 7 months of 2012.
