Chongqing’s economy embraced a stable and sustainble development in the first half of 2012, with the GDP growth rate of 14 percent, ranking 2nd nationwide.
Six indicators, including quick recovery of industries, rapid development of opening up, steady increase of investment, fast growth of retail industry, healthy and rapid development of financial industry and rapid growth of market entities, presented the balanced and sustainable economy of Chongqing.
