World-class data center to be put into service in Chongqing

As the first world-class data center in Southwest China, Pacnet Chongqing Data Center, constructed by Pacnet Singapore, the biggest telecommunication service provider in Asia-Pacific region, is to be put into operation at the end of 2012, according to Shuitu High-Tech Industrial Park, Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing on July 24.

Pacnet, the first transnational enterprise settled in Liangjiang International Cloud Computing Center of Chongqing, will have completed the construction of its telecom building by the end of July.

This telecom building, with 1,500 equipment cabinets and 30,000 servers, will provide big international clients with on/offshore data processing service and guarantee reliable communication for all the enterprises in Shuitu Cloud Computing Data Processing Base.
