Chongqing general budget revenue up 18.4% in H1

Chongqing’s general budget revenue in the first half of 2012 hit 82.61 billion yuan, up 18.4%, higher than the goal of 15% at the beginning of the year, ranking 13th nationwide, according to Chongqing Finance Bureau on July 23, 2012.

Chongqing’s GDP, added value of above-scale industries, social fixed assets investment and total social retail sales rose by 14%, 16.5%, 23.1% and 15.9% respectively in the first half of the year.

Chongqing’s economy is still running at a moderate speed, which is good for the steady increase of financial income.
