Chongqing has drawn up a program for guiding the regional layout of cloud computing industry according to Chongqing Economy & Informationization Commission on July 11.
Chongqing will reportedly establish a “1+2+10” cloud computing industrial base, which is expected to create an output value of more than 1 trillion.
As the blueprint indicates, Chongqing will establish the “1+2+10” cloud base by 2015, that is “data processing + terminal manufacture + research & development”.
“1” represents the data process industrial base of water and soil computing in Liangjiang New Area; “2” represents the two cloud equipment manufacturing bases in Xiyong Comprehensive Bonded Area and Lianglu-Cuntan Free Trade Area; “10” represents the ten industrial bases of computing application research & development and service outsourcing in Jiulongpo District, New North Zone, Yuzhong District, Nan’an District, Dadukou District, Jiangjin District, Banan District, Hechuan District, Yongchuan District and Fuling District.
