New energy vehicle will become a key project for auto enterprises in Chongqing in line with the promotion plan of auto industry, according to Chongqing Economy and Informationization Commission these days.
Chongqing will complete a national new-energy vehicle base involving in fields like R&D, manufacturing, detecting, recycling and use, and produce and sell 100,000 pure electric cars and plug-in hybrid cars by 2015.
Moreover, 30 charging stations for buses and private new-energy cars will be completed by 2015, and rechargeable batteries with short charging time will also be developed.
