Chongqing will put 500 fast-charging hybrid buses into use and establish Chongqing New Energy Vehicle Operation Company for passenger transportation and rental business, in order to promote the demonstration operation of new energy vehicles.
A total of 25 Zhixiang mild gas-electric hybrid taxis, 318 medium gas-electric hybrid service cars, 50 gas-electricity hybrid buses and 6 pure electric buses have already been put into use.
Chongqing Electric Power Corp. has already completed the construction of charging stations in Chayuan of Jiangbei District and Konggang New Zone of Yubei District and is engaged in the construction of charging stations in Baiheyuan of Nan’an District, meeting the needs of the demonstration operation.
