The Economic and Technological Development Zone and Nan’an District of Chongqing and China’s Guoxintong Mobile Communication Co. Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on July 4. They planned to invest 1.65 billion yuan in building a mobile phone manufacturing base with a total output value of above 15 billion yuan in five years.
In 2011, Nan’an District has began to develop itself into the “the city of mobile phone in western China”. With the help of Mobile Communication Hi-tech Industry Base and Telecommunications Research Institute in western China, Nan’an District brought in six mobile phone enterprises such as Gaoxun Baling and Kono.
Guoxintong Mobile Communication Co. Ltd. would not only build an operation system including research and development, design, production, marketing and after-sale service, but also establish a complete structure of industry supply chain. Meanwhile, it would offer relevant mobile phone components both for itself and the other enterprises, help form an industry chain of vertical integration of the machine and the support.
