The National People’s Congress (NPC), China’s top legislature, approved Saturday the termination of the NPC deputy of Wang Lijun (王立军), former vice mayor of Chongqing Municipality.
According to the NPC Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Chongqing People’s Congress on June 26 accepted resignation of Wang as an NPC deputy.
