According to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Public Security Bureau, the flight GS7554 from Hotan to Urumqi took off at 12:25 pm today and was hijacked by 6 people. The hijacking attempt then foiled by crew and passengers. The aircraft immediately returned Hotan Airport and landed safely, six criminals were arrested.
The cases is under further investigation.
