Chongqing to build 12 tourist docks

Chongqing will build two cruise terminals and ten docks along the Yangtze River in order to promote the image of the Three Georges as a tourism resort and upgrade its tourism service.

According to the plan, the 12 docks will be completed by 2015, connecting beautiful scenery along the Yangtze River. The two cruise terminals will be built in Nan’an District while the rest 10 docks will respectively settle in places including Fuling, Fengdu, Zhong County, Shizhu and Wanzhou.

The length of berth of the ten docks will be able to accommodate above-130-m luxury cruise. Tourists may enjoy more scenery in the future during their cruise travel along the Yangtze River.
