Chongqing to see 3 to 5 more hot days in 2012

There will be 3 to 5 more hot days over 35℃ in most regions of Chongqing than last year, and the highest temperature will hit 40℃, or even over 40℃ in some areas along rivers and valleys, announced by Chongqing Meteorological Bureau in a press conference on June 19, 2012.

The temperature in most regions of Chongqing will be 0.2-0.4℃ higher than that of last year. Most regions are to suffer from 25-35 drought days from mid-late July 2012, and regions along the Yangtze River may witness severer drought, estimated by Chongqing Meteorological Bureau on June 19, 2012.
