The Microsoft / Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone Enterprise Service Cloud (ESC) was formally launched on June 15, 2012. It is a cloud computing platform designed for the zone by Microsoft as well as the first government cloud computing project in southwest China.
It is introduced that the ESC can provide e-mails, instant messages, and video conferences, etc. for enterprises’ informationziation. That is to say, enterprises can get access to higher-quality and cheaper IT service directly just like to water, electricity and gas.
According to Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, the enterprises of the zone can use the ESC for free for half a year from now on while have to pay small fees after that.
