Forecast indicates that during the summer peaks of this year, overall demand for electricity of the society will maintain steady growth, the electricity supply gap is between 2500 – 37 million kilowatts. The electricity supply of North China, East China Power Grid will be relatively tense.
In the extreme cases during the summer peaks, there will be about 35 million kilowatts of electricity supply gap. The gap areas are mainly concentrated in the north, east, and central China.
The state grid will take steps to maximize the use of UHV transmission project in trans-regional electricity transmission, focus on ensuring the supply of residential electricity and try to prevent the blackouts.
