
Conservative political groups from Tokyo will host fishing contest in the waters near the Diaoyu Islands on June 10, in order to demonstrate “Japan’s sovereignty over these islands”.
Six members of Japanese Congress, more than 30 political activists and members of the political groups will join the fishing contest. They will take 15 fishing boats from Ishigaki Island in the middle night of June 9, these boats are scheduled to arrive the Diaoyu Islands in the morning on June 10.
Japan Coast Guard will send patrol boats to escort these ships.
