China signed the intergovernmental agreement on cultural cooperation and nearly 800 annual cultural exchange plans with 145 countries, announced the External Cultural Relations Bureau of Ministry of Culture.
According to Hou Xianghua, chief of External Cultural Relations Bureau, China has maintained close cooperative relations with more than 1,000 cultural organizations all over the world. In the last 10 years, traditional Chinese and foreign cultural cooperation mechanism has developed to a higher level.
“The Chinese government doesn’t intend to output China’s ideological values, development model or ideology, instead, China wants to promote the exchange of the souls, the communication of ideas and feelings through cultural exchanges,” said Hou Xianghua.
