Beijing police to launch a special action focusing on cleaning up illegal immigrants in Beijing, announced Beijing Public Security Bureau on May 14th.
The “Hundred Days special action” will commence from May 15th to the end of August, and concentrate on cleaning up foreigners illegally work and live in Beijing. New visa applications will be strictly reviewed.
Police also announced a telephone hotline for reporting: 010-64038685.
With the economic and social development, Beijing has attracted more and more foreigners come to work. There are nearly 200 thousand foreigners in Beijing everyday, living in every administrative districts and counties.
