Kim Jong Un elected delegate to WPK Conference

Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army (KPA), has been elected a delegate to a major conference of the WPK to be held in mid-April.

Kim was elected a delegate to the 4th Party Conference at a meeting of the KPA held on Monday, the official newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported Tuesday.

Kim Jong Gak, first vice-director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, said that the election of Kim “is the service personnel’s manifestation of their absolute trust and ardent loyalty to him and a reflection of the requirements of the era.”

Then meeting also elected the presidium and delegates of the KPA to the Party Conference.
