ChongqingTong deputy mayor Xiaoping met with Tang Weiming, the CEO of Otis Elevator (China) Investment Co., Ltd on March 7. They exchanged ideas on further cooperation.
Tong Xiaoping said that the development of Chongqing’s economy provides a huge market for elevator production. Besides, the strong industrial foundation and process capability can meet the supply chain requirements of elevator manufacture by Otis. She also advised that Otis could settle its sales and settlement center of China in Chongqing.
Tang Weiming expressed his thankfulness to Chongqing Municipal Committee of the CPC and Chongqing Municipal People’s Government for their assistance in factory founding of Otis. He said that the development of Chongqing is amazing. Chongqing owns a huge market to attract Otis to extend its investment.
