Changsha plans to vigorously propel development of cultural and creative industry this year with more efforts to boost the progress of market-oriented advertising, according to the Working Conference of the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Commerce on March 6.
The municipal bureau of commerce successfully organized 2011 China(Changsha) International Advertising Festival. With the theme of “Appreciating World’s Most Creative Advertising in Changsha”, the event was participated by 817 enterprises. Changsha Tianxin Creative Advertising Industrial Park was approved as the state-level advertising industrial park during the festival.
The city boasts 65 well-known trademarks, topping other cities in central and western China. Golden Eagle Broadcasting System and Zoomlion are listed in 2011 China Top 100 Brands assessed by World Brand Lab. After the joint approval of the World Intellectual Property Organization and the State Administration for Industry & Commerce, Sany and Longping Hi-tech were awarded with the International Golden Prizes for Creative Chinese Trademark and Proper Trademark Use respectively.
Deputy Mayor of Changsha Chen Zehui required the municipal bureau of commerce to provide quality services for fueling economic development, boosting advertising industrial park and pushing the cultural and creative industry to a higher level.
