Actress Bo Han died of cancer on February 19th at the age of 56. In accordance with her wishes, her body has been donated to science without a funeral.
Bo Han gained acclaim from her role as a mother on “A Beautiful Daughter-in-law Era,” a TV comedy drama in 2010, and she won Best Actress at the White Magnolia Awards for her performance at the 16th Shanghai Television Festival.
Her agent stated that she was suffering from neurological endocrine tumors but that she had been active with her treatment.
During her lifetime, Bo expressed her hope to donate her body to science in order to help as many people as possible. She also stated that she did not want a funeral, wishing to leave everyone with a good impression of her and her life.
