The russian port logistics company Summa Group in conjunction with the port of Rotterdam are considering the purchase of an asset in China. Chairman of the Summa Group Ziyavudin Magomedov told reporters on the sidelines of the APEC Business Advisory Council in Hong Kong.
“In China we are looking for an asset,” said Mr.Magomedov, without revealing details of the possible deal. He also said that the Summa Group previously dealt with the acquisition of an asset in Australia, but later gave up. “They offered an asset in Australia, but the group did not satisfy with the conditions of sale.” said Ziyavudin Magomedov.
In addition, Mr. Magomedov considering the establishment of bunkering business in the port of Hong Kong. Earlier, the Summa Group and the port of Rotterdam signed an agreement on strategic partnership in the port and logistics business.
