Chongqing’s property price lower than last January

National Bureau of Statistics of China released on February 19, the prices of newly-built commodity housing in 70 medium- and large-sized cities in January declined or remained at the same level compared with that in December 2011. It was the first downgrade since 2011, indicating the obvious downtrend of housing price. According to Chongqing Municipal Land Resources and Housing Administrative Bureau, the prices of newly-built commodity housing in January was lower than that in the same period in 2011, which were comparatively low among 70 cities and 35 key cities.

According to Chongqing Municipal Land Resources and Housing Administrative Bureau, although the decreasing amplitude was narrower than that in December 2011, month on month, the prices of normal commodity housing under 144 square meters reduced a lot.
