Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Awards to Hold Taiwan and Hong Kong Film Festival

It has been confirmed that six Taiwanese films will be screened at the Taiwan Film Festival during the 20th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Awards (GRHFA), according to the website of the organizing committee for this year’s event.

Director Lin Yu-Hsien’s gymnastics-themed movie, “Jump! Ashin (翻滾吧!阿信),” will open the Taiwan Film Festival which runs from October 19 to 22. Other Taiwanese films to be screened include “Revenge of the Factory Woman,” “Make Up,” “Taipei Exchanges,” “When Love Comes” and “Young at Heart: Grandma Cheerleaders.”

Actor Eddie Peng and Lin Ko, the two leads of the movie, “Jump! Ashin,” will attend the opening ceremony of the festival.

In addition to this, director Johnny To’s film panorama will be screened during the Hong Kong Film Festival of GRHFA. “All About Ah-Long,” starring by Chow Yun-fat, will open the festival.
