Microsoft Collaborates with Chinese Search Engine Baidu

The major Chinese search engine, Baidu, has reached an agreement with Microsoft to provide search for English to Chinese Internet users from its own service.

Baidu has reinforced its leadership in the local market. The agreement with Microsoft will also benefit the visibility of search engine Bing in China. According to local analysts, this agreement will put the business of Google to a more difficult situation in China. Baidu takes 76% of search market at the moment.
