China urged to enhance the interaction of BRICS in the G20 and the UN

President Hu Jintao spoke of the need to strengthen the interaction of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) in the “Group of Twenty“, the UN and other international organizations.

“We need to strengthen political cooperation through dialogue and exchange, to fully address the key interests and concerns of each other, to give an example of mutual respect and equal consultation to the world.” Said President Hu Jintao at the summit meeting of the BRICS.

He also noted the importance of promoting the reform of global economic governance “by raising the voting rights and representation of emerging markets and developing countries.”
